L O U I S 2 , M IS S O U R I April 20, 1954 D A Y L IG H T S A V IN G T IM E To Banking Institutions in the Eighth Federal Reserve D istrict: Daylight Saving Tim e will be effective in St. Louis, Missouri, from Sunday, April 25, 1954, through Saturday, September 25, 1954. In Louisville, K entucky, businesses will operate on “ Voluntary Daylight Tim e” between those same dates. During this period local time will be one hour in advance of Central Standard Time in both cities. The Fed eral Reserve Bank a t St. Louis and its branch a t Louisville, Kentucky, will operate on local time. D aylight Saving Time will not be in effect in the cities of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee, and our branches located in those cities will continue to operate on Central Standard Time.
