In connection with the Treasury's o ffe rin g o f bonds at competitive
bidding on January 8 , 1963 , the Treasury’ s circu la r, Public Debt Series
No. 22-62, states in Sec. 340.8 (b) footnote 2 that a sp e cia lly prepared
table o f bond yield s w ill be made available as a basis fo r computing the
lowest basis cost o f money to determine the accepted b id .
The Treasury has
prepared and sent us a supply o f the table referred to and at it s request we
are mailing you herewith a small supply which may be distributed to anyone
upon request.
