Time Extended to November 23 for Comments
on Proposed New Regulation F

To State Member Banks in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The following statement was made public yesterday by the Board of
Governors of the Federal Reserve System :
In response to requests from affected institutions, the Board o f Governors
of the Federal Reserve System today extended until Monday, November 23, the
deadline fo r the receipt of comments on the proposed new Regulation F
(Securities o f Member State Banks) and the proposed form to be used in con­
nection with the registration of banks’ securities. The previous deadline had
been October 21, 1964.
