Second Federal Reserve District:

The Comptroller of the Currency has advised us that a certificate
of authority to commence business has been issued to U nion C h elsea
N atio n al B a n k , New York, New York. This newly organized bank
was established December 31, 1976, and, by virtue of its being a national
bank, has become a member of the Federal Reserve System. The capital
of the bank is $672,670 and its surplus $333,335. Union Chelsea Na­
tional Bank has acquired certain assets and assumed certain liabilities,
including all of the deposits, of Chelsea National Bank.
