To All Banking Institutions in the
Second Federal Reserve District:

The Com ptroller o f the Currency has advised us that a certificate
o f authority to commence business has been issued to T h e S h o r t
H i l l s N a tio n a l B a n k , Short H ills, New Jersey. This newly organized
bank has officially opened for business today, and, by virtue o f its
being a national bank, has become a member o f the F ederal R eserve
System . The capital of the bank is $200,000, and its surplus $200,000.
