The Comptroller of the Currency has advised us th at a certificate
of authority t o commence business has been issued to J e f f e r s o n
N a t i o n a l B a n k , Passaic, New Jersey. This newly organized bank will
officially open for business October 17, 1970 and, by virtue of its being
a national bank, will become a member of the Federal Reserve System.
The capital of the bank is $600,000 and its surplus is $600,000.
