To the Addressee:
Circular No. 905*+, dated April 22, 1981, announced the adoption
of a revised Regulation Z, "Truth in Lending," and a new Regulation M,
"Consumer Leasing," by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Enclosed is the text of the regulations, together with explanatory
material, appendices, and model forms, as published in the Federal Register
of April 7, 198l-

The material relating to Regulation Z begins on page

208U8; the material relating to Regulation M begins on page 209*+9*
Additional, single copies of this material will be furnished upon
request directed to the Circulars Division.

Also, printed copies of the new

regulations in pamphlet form will be sent to you when available.
