FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK March 30, 1981 To the Chief Executive Officer of Each Savings and Loan Association in the Second Federal Reserve D istrict The enactment of the Monetary Control Act of 1980 has increased the need for direct communication between your institution and this Bank. Accordingly, we have recently completed a review of our institutional mailing lists for the purpose of updating existing address information. Our records indicate that the location of the head office of your institution is as specified on the enclosed Address Verification Card. That card represents the address to which we will mail circulars and certain other notices, such as regulations, interpretations, and press releases of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, operating circulars of this Bank, and other informational and procedural notices issued by this Bank that may affect the operations of or be of general interest to your institution. Please verify the accuracy of that address and return the enclosed postage-paid card to the Circulars Division of this Bank. Please note that, in order to preserve the integrity of our institutional mailing lists, names of individuals cannot be included on those mailing stencils. Individuals at your institution may already be listed on the mailing lists that we maintain specifically for individual addressees; those lists will not be affected by this review of our institutional lists. However, should you desire to have persons in your organization (not now listed on any of our “request” mailing lists) receive an additional copy of those circulars addressed to your institution, we will accommodate them upon receipt of a separate written request directed to the Circulars Division of this Bank.
