It supersedes the pam phlet issued in March 1992. Evidence o f the signing authority of other Bank employees — including Bank personnel who have authority to sign correspondence and reconcilem ents and those who have authority to sign docum ents “per procuration” or to sign on behalf of the Bank as fiscal agent of the United States, Governm ent agencies, or international organizations — may be obtained upon written request directed to our Personnel D epartm ent, or to the departm ents of this Bank with responsibility for the activities to which the docum ents relate. All checks or drafts payable in foreign countries, and all foreign correspon dence authorizing payments or transfers of funds, or delivery of securities or other property, m ust bear the authorized signatures of two officers, and one of such sig natures m ust be that of the President, the First Vice President, an executive vice president, a senior vice president, a vice president, an assistant vice president, or any other officer of equivalent rank.
