Qjr FED ER AL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK August 14, 1975 BICENTENNIAL COINS To All Banks in the Second Federal Reserve District: In our circular letter dated June 17, 1975, we indicated that we expected to have an initial supply of Bicentennial dollars for distribution beginning October 1, 1975. We have now been informed by the Bureau of the Mint that there will be a delay of about one month in the initial distribution of Bicentennial dollars. Accordingly, Bicentennial dollars may be ordered from this Bank beginning November 3, 1975 in the allotted amounts specified in our June 17 letter. PAUL A. VOLCKER, President. a /w 76
