Second Federal Reserve District:

Effective March 1, 1965, the Board of Governors of the Federal
Reserve System amended its Regulation M, Foreign Branches of
National Banks. Enclosed is a copy of the amendment; additional
copies will be furnished upon request.

IS S U E D B Y T H E B OARD OF G O V ERN O RS O F T H E F E D E R A L R E S E R V E S Y S T E M

Effective March 1, 1965, section 213.4 is amended by adding the
following paragraph thereto:
(g ) Pay to any officer or employee of the branch a greater rate
of interest on deposits than that paid to other depositors on similar
deposits with the branch.
