FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK 'Circular No. 9741 .April 21. 1930J Daylight Saving Time To all Banks, Trust Companies, Savings Banks, and Bankers in the Second Federal Reserve District: So-called daylight saving time will be effective in the City of New York and the City of Buffalo during the period from 2 a. m. on Sunday, April 27, 1930 to 2 a. m. on Sunday, September 28,1930. During this period local time in New York City and in Buffalo will be one hour in advance of Eastern standard time, and this bank will operate on such local time. Clearings at the New York Clearing House will take place during this period at 10 o'clock a.m., local time in New York City, which will be the equivalent of 9 a.m. Eastern standard time. Clearings at the Buffalo Clearing House will take place during this period at 10 o'clock a.m. on week-days and 9:30 o'clock a.m. on Saturdays, local time in Buffalo, which will be the equivalent of 9 a. m. and 8:30 a. m.
