FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK | Circular No. 9613 January 9,1984 ] HOLIDAY NOTICE Connecticut and New Jersey Holiday on January 16 To All Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District: This Bank’s Cranford Office (North Jersey Regional Check Processing Center) and banking institutions in Connecticut and New Jersey will be closed on Monday, January 16, 1984 in observance of Martin Luther King’s Birthday. Accordingly, cash items and noncash items that are payable by, at, or through institutions in these States and that would otherwise be presented by this Bank on that day will be presented on the next business day, January 17, 1984. Corresponding delays will also occur in the return of unpaid items and in the forwarding of advices of nonpayment of such items. Our Cranford Office will be open on Monday night, January 16, 1984, to accept deposits for our consolidated shipment depositors in New Jersey. In addition, credit for cash item s drawn on banking institutions in New Jersey served by our Cranford Office that are received at our Head Office after 12 noon on Friday, January 13, will be given on Tuesday, January 17. There will be no change in the usual availability of credit granted for consolidated shipment deposits or for any other cash items deposited at the Head Office of this Bank. A n t h o n y M.
