Subscription Books Closed
On December 16th Offering of 3% Per Cent Treasury Certificates

To all Banks, Trust Companies, Savings Banks, Bankers, Investment Dealers,
Principal Corporations and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District:

According to a statement by the Secretary of the Treasury the subscription
books for the current issue of 3% per cent Treasury certificates of indebtedness
dated December 16, 1929, Series TS-1930 for $325,000,000, or thereabouts, maturing September 15, 1930, closed at the close of business today, Saturday,
December 7, 1929.
Subscriptions received through the mails up to 10 a. m. Monday, December 9,
1929, "will be considered as having been received before the close of the subscription books.
