FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK [ Circular No. 9244 February 4, 1982 ~| HOLIDAY NOTICE To A ll D epository Institutions, and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District: As indicated in our Circular No. 9150, dated September 25, 1981, all offices of this Bank will be closed on February 12 and 15 in observance of Lincoln’s and Washington’s Birthdays. Accordingly, cash items and noncash items that are payable by, at, or through institutions in the Second Federal Reserve District and that would otherwise be presented by this Bank on those days will be presented on the next business day, Tuesday, February 16, 1982. Corresponding delays will occur in the return of unpaid items and in the forwarding of advices of nonpayment of such items. All offices of this Bank will accept deposits of items collectible through those offices on February 12 and 15, as well as on the intervening weekend. When cash items drawn on banking institutions in the Second District are deposited at our offices on Thursday, February 11, for which credit would normally be available on Friday, February 12, such credit will not be available until Tuesday, February 16.
