Knight a class C director of this Bank for the three-year term ending December 31, 1983, and has designated him Chairman of the Board and Federal Reserve Agent for the year 1981. Mr. Knight is a partner in the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling. H e has been serving as a class C director since February 1976 and as Chairman and Federal Reserve Agent since January 1978; he also served as Deputy Chairman in 1976 and 1977. The Board of Governors has reappointed Boris Yavitz as Deputy Chairman for the year 1981. Dr. Yavitz is Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
