Subscription Books Closed
On December 15th Offering of 4M Per Cent Treasury Certificates

To all Banks, Trust Companies, Savings Banks, Bankers, Investment Dealers,
Principal Corporations and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District:

According to a statement by the Secretary of the Treasury the subscription
books for the current issue of 4*4 per cent Treasury certificates of indebtedness,
dated December 15, 1928, Series TS2-1929 for $200,000,000, or thereabouts, maturing September 15, 1929, and Series TD-1929 for $300,000,000, or thereabouts,
maturing December 15, 1929, closed at the close of business today, "Wednesday,
December 12, 1928.
No further subscriptions to this offering, therefore, can be received by
this bank.
