Several series of questions and answers on the Credit Restraint Program have been
published to date by this Bank and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System,
including a number of questions and answers published in connection with the consumer
credit restraint program (Subpart A of P art 229). In view of the large number of such
questions, a topical index of the more important questions and answers on Subpart A has
been prepared, and is printed on the reverse side of this circular, together with a list of
those answers that have been modified or otherwise affected by subsequent answers or by
Board action.
The questions and answers covered by the index and list have been published in this
Bank’s Circular Nos. 8781, 8784. 8788, 8794, and 8796.
