FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK [circular No. 8358~j May 29. 1978 L REQUESTS FOR CIRCULARS AND CERTAIN OTHER PRINTED MATERIAL To A ll Member Banks . and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve D istrict Effective immediately, this Bank has adopted new procedures regarding requests for certain printed matter and for making m ailing list changes. Requests for sets of regulations and operating circulars Except for member banks of the Federal Reserve System, a $2 handling charge will be imposed on requests for complete, unbound sets of Regulations of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and for complete, unbound sets of this Bank’s Operating Circulars. Unbound sets of these documents will continue to be supplied without charge to member banks. Bound sets of regulations and operating circulars—available only to member banks—will be distributed at a charge of $5 and $6, respectively. The price of “Published Interpretations of the Board of Governors,” a publication available to the general public, is now $7.50. All requests for these materials should be made in writing or in person to the Circulars Division of this Bank. Where a charge is imposed, such requests should be accompanied by a check for the appropriate amount. As is our usual practice, the names of those who receive these publications will be placed on a m ailing list for updates to the materials. Requests for other printed matter Single copies of Bank circulars, Board of Governors’ regulations, and certain other printed materials will continue to be provided free of charge. However, the Bank reserves the right to impose a service charge on any bulk orders, to help defray the costs associated with filling such requests. Requests for m ailing list changes To help eliminate errors in making mailing list changes, all requests for additions to mailing lists for Bank circulars, Treasury offerings, regulations, or other material distributed by the Circulars Division must be made in writing or in person. Telephone requestsfor additions to such lists will no longer be accepted Written requests should be directed to the Circulars Division, and your request should specify the types of materials you wish to receive.
