FEDERAL RESERVE BANK ' OF NEW YORK Circular No. 8 3 0 7 March 29, 1978 MAY 30-MEMORIAL DAY IN NEW YORK STATE To All Member Banks, and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District: Observance of the Memorial Day holiday in New York State this year will be on Tuesday, May 30,1978, the date set by the New York State legislature. Accordingly, all New York State offices of this Bank will be closed on May 30. You should be aware, however, that most other States have designated Monday, May 29, as the Memorial Day holiday. New Jersey is one of those States and thus our Cranford Office (North Jersey Regional Check Processing Center) will be closed on May 29. P aul A. V olcker, President.
