The Treasury D epartm ent has authorized and requested this Bank to reclassify
the T reasury Tax and Loan Depositaries in this D istrict into G roups A, B, and C,
effective M arch 10, 1976, upon the basis of the total deposits credited to tax and loan
accounts during the period January 1 through Decem ber 31, 1975, exclusive of
redeposits with G roup C banks. Accordingly, depositaries th a t m ade a total of such
deposits in this period in the am ounts indicated below will be grouped as follows:
G roup A — Less than $7,500,000.
G roup B — (1) $7,500,000 or m ore, but less than $80,000,000 and
(2) $80,000,000 or m ore, b u t whose total deposit
liability (dem and and tim e) was $60,000,000 or less as
of Decem ber 31, 1975.
G roup C — $80,000,000 or m ore, and whose total deposit liability
(dem and and tim e) was m ore than $60,000,000 as of
D ecem ber 31, 1975.
The new groupings will be continued until further notice, regardless of any
subsequent increase or decrease in tax and loan deposit levels of any depositary. Any
depositary whose group classification will change on M arch 10, 1976 will be so
notified by letter.
