First V ice President o f this Bank, will retire on

June 1, 1973, after completing almost fou r decades o f distinguished service with
the Bank. Mr. Treiber joined the Bank as Assistant Counsel in 1934 and has
been First V ice President since March 1, 1952.
R ic h a r d A . D ebs,

presently a Senior Vice President o f this Bank, has been

appointed First Vice President, effective June 1, 1973, by the Board of Directors
o f this Bank, with the approval o f the Board o f Governors o f the Federal R e­
serve System.
