To T H E C A S H I E R SIR: You are advised that on and after Wednesday, November 18th, 1914, this bank will receive on deposit for collection and credit of the proceeds to the accounts of member banks, (a) Checks and drafts drawn on any Federal Reserve Bank; (b) Checks and drafts drawn by member banks of District No. 2 on any member bank in the cities of Albany, Brooklyn and New York, as listed below. Until further notice deposits of checks, drafts, and other items, other than those above specified, should not be made, as they cannot be handled with facility, and it will be necessary to return them to the member banks from which they are received. Through the courtesy of the New York Clearing House Association, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will effect exchanges through the New York Clearing House on and after Tuesday, November 17th, 1914.
