Appointment of Buffalo Branch Director

To All Member Banks o f the
Second Federal Reserve D istrict:

The board of directors of this Bank has appointed J o h n M. G a l v i n
a director of the Buffalo Branch of this Bank for the unexpired por­
tion of the three-year term ending December 31, 1963. He succeeds
F r a n c is A. S m i t h , who died on May 8, 1962. Mr. Galvin is Chairman
of the Executive Committee and chief executive officer of The Marine
Trust Company of Western New York, Buffalo, N. Y.
