TREASURY’S CURRENT ADVANCE REFUNDING
Final Results
T o A ll Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned,
in the Second Federal R eserve D istrict:

The following statement was made public today by the Treasury
Department:
The Treasury Department announced today the results of the current
advance refunding offer o f :
3% percent Treasury Bonds of 1966, due November 15, 1966, in exchange
for 21/a percent Treasury Bonds of 1963, due August 15, 1963; and
3% percent Treasury Bonds of 1967, due November 15, 1967, in exchange
for 2^4 percent Treasury Bonds of 1959-62, due June 15, 1962;
2 i/4 percent Treasury Bonds of 1959-62, due December 15, 1962;
and 2% percent Treasury Notes of Series A-1963, due February 15, 1963.
Subscriptions, all of which were allotted in full, were divided among the
several Federal Reserve Districts and the Treasury as follows:
