Herewith is a statement of condition o f the Federal Reserve Bank
of New York at the close of the year 1960, and o f earnings and expenses
fo r that year. F or convenient comparison, the corresponding figures
for the previous year, 1959, are also shown.
The regular annual report o f the Bank, containing an account of
its operations fo r the year ended December 31, 1960, is now being
prepared. When it is issued, a copy will be sent to each member bank
in the District.
