E X E C U T I V E O R D E R NO. 9567 AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 9095, AS AMENDED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 9193, TO DEFINE FURTHER THE FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES OF THE ALIEN PROPERTY CUSTODIAN WITH RESPECT TO PROPERTY OF GERMANY AND JAPAN AND NATIONALS THEREOF. By virtue of the a u t h o r i t y vested in me by the C o n s t i t u t i o n , by the First War Powers A c t , 1941 (50 U.S.C. A p p . , S u p . , 601 et seq.), b y the T r a d i n g w i t h the E n e m y Act of O c t o b e r 6, 1917, as amended (50 U . S . C . A p p . , Sup., 1 et seq.), and as President of the United S t a t e s , it is h e r e b y ordered as follows: S e c t i o n 2 ( c ) of E x e c u t i v e Order No. 9095 of M a r c h 11, 1942, as a m e n d e d by E x e c u t i v e O r d e r N o . 9 1 9 3 of July 6, 1 9 4 2 (3 C F R C u m . S u p p . ) , is amended to read as follows: "(c) any other p r o p e r t y or interest within the United S t a t e s of any n a t u r e w h a t s o e v e r o w n e d or c o n t r o l l e d b y , p a y a b l e or d e l i v e r a b l e to, h e l d on behalf of or on account of, or owing to, or w h i c h is e v i d e n c e of o w n e r s h i p or control b y , a d e s i g n a t e d e n e m y c o u n t r y or n a t i o n a l t h e r e o f : Pr ovided, howeve r, That with respect to any such c o u n t r y or national other than G e r m a n y or Japan or any n a t i o n a l thereof, such p r o p e r t y or interest shall not include c a s h , b u l l i o n , moneys, currencies, deposits, credits, credit instruments, f o r e i g n e x c h a n g e , and s e c u r i t i e s except to the extent that the A l i e n P r o p e r t y C u s t o d i a n d e t e r m i n e s t h a t s u c h c a s h , b u l l i o n , m o n e y s , c u r r e n c i e s , d e p o s i t s , c r e d i t s , credit ins t r u m e n t s , f o r e i g n e x c h a n g e , and s e c u r i t i e s are n e c e s s a r y for the m a i n t e n a n c e or s a f e g u a r d i n g of o t h e r p r o p e r t y b e l o n g i n g to the s a m e d e s i g n a t e d e n e m y c o u n t r y or the s a m e n a t i o n a l thereof and subject to vesting pursuant to section 2 hereof; " H A R R Y S.
