Results of Election of Directors

T o M em ber Banks in the Second Federal R eserve D istrict:

The election o f directors to succeed N. B a x t e r J a c k s o n , class A director,
and C l a r e n c e F r a n c i s , class B director, whose term s expire D ecem ber 31,1955,
has been duly held in accordance w ith the requirem ents o f section 4 o f the
F ederal R eserve A ct, as amended, and the provisions o f Circular No. 4268, dated
Septem ber 23, 1955.
The results o f the election are as fo llo w s :
H o w a r d C . S h e p e r d , Chairman o f the B oard, The F irst N ational City Bank

o f N ew Y ork , and Chairman o f the B oard, C ity Bank F arm ers T rust Company,
N ew Y ork, N. Y ., was elected by member banks in G roup 1 as a class A director
o f this B a n k ; and C l a r e n c e F r a n c i s , D irector, General F ood s Corporation, New
Y ork, N. Y ., was reelected b y m ember banks in G roup 1 as a class B director o f
this Bank. E ach was chosen fo r a term o f three years beginning January 1,1956.
