NOTICE OF CALL FOR REDEMPTION
2 P E R C E N T T R E A S U R Y B O N D S O F 1951-55

T o all Banka and Others Concerned in the
Second F ederal R eserve D istrict:

The Treasury Department today issued the official notice of call for redemption on
December 15, 1954, of the 2 percent Treasury Bonds of 1951-55, dated December 15, 1941, due
December 15, 1955. There are now outstanding $510,411,450 of these bonds.
The text of the formal notice of call is as follows:

dated D ecem ber 15, 1941, due D ecem ber 15, 1955, are hereby ca lled fo r red em p tion on D ecem ber 15,
1954, o n w hich date interest o n such bon ds w ill cease.
2. H old ers o f these bon ds m ay, in advance o f the red em p tion date, be offered the p riv ile g e o f
ex ch a n g in g all or an y p a rt o f th eir ca lled bonds fo r oth er interest-bearin g ob ligation s o f the U nited
