SEPTEMBER INCOME T A X PAYMENTS
Not to be Deposited in Treasury Tax and Loan Accounts

To all Treasury Tax and Loan Depositaries
in the Second Federal Reserve D istrict:

The Treasury has informed us that it has determined not to deposit
in Tax and Loan Accounts checks covering individual or corporate
income taxes due September 15, 1953. This has been decided because
of the relatively small amount involved and the disbursement require­
ments o f the Treasury during September.
