New Counterfeit $10 Federal Reserve Note
To all Banks, Trust Companies and Savings Banks
in the Second Federal Reserve District:
There is in circulation another counterfeit $10 Federal Reserve note the
of which are given by the Treasury

in its circular letter No. 462

as follows:
"On the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Georgia; check letter ' D ' ;
face plate No. 63; back plate No. 256; Carter Glass, Secretary of the
Treasury; John Burke, Treasurer of the United States; portrait of Jackson.
"This counterfeit is printed from photo-engraved plates of fair workmanship, on a single piece of heavy paper, without any attempt to imitate
the silk fibre of the genuine.

The number of the specimen at hand is

F 9947764 A.
"This counterfeit will deceive a careless handler of money."
