Daylight Saving Time

To all Banks and Trust Companies in the Second
Federal Reserve District and Others Concerned :

“Daylight saving time” will be effective in the cities of New York
and Buffalo. New York, during the period from 2 a. m. on Sunday,
April 25, 1948, to 2 a. m. on Sunday, September 26, 194S. During this
period local time in the cities of New Y^ork and Buffalo, New York, will
be one hour in advance of Eastern Standard time, and this bank will
operate on such local time.
