To ALL BANKS, TRUST COMPANIES, SAVINGS BANKS, BANKERS, INVESTMENT DEALERS,
AND PRINCIPAL CORPORATIONS IN THE SECOND FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT,
DEAR S I R S :

The Treasury Department yesterday issued the following announcement:
"Washington, D. C,
July 28, 1919.
"Secretary Glass to-day announced that subscriptions for Treasury
Certificates of Indebtedness of Series T 8, dated July 15, 1919, and maturing March 15, 1920, would close at the close of business on Thursday,
July 31, 1919.
"The amount of subscriptions received to date is in excess of
1294,000,000."
In accordance therewith, the subscription books for Series T 8, of the Federal Reserve
Bank of New York, will close at the close of business on July 31, 1919.
