Results of Election of Directors

To Member Banks in the Second Federal Reserve

District:

The election of directors to succeed EDWAED K. MILLS, Class A director,
and WALTEE C. TEAGLB, Class B director, whose terms expire December 31,
1935, has been duly held in accordance with the requirements of Section 4 of
the Federal Reserve Act, as amended, and the provisions of Circular No. 1594,
dated September 27, 1935.
The results of the election are as follows:
K. MILLS, President, Morristown Trust Company, Morristown,
N. J., was re-elected by member banks in Group 2 as a Class A director of this
bank; and WALTER C. TEAGLE, President, Standard Oil Company (New Jersey),
New York, N. Y., was re-elected by member banks in Group 2 as a Class B
director of this bank. Each was chosen for a term of three years beginning
January 1, 1936.

To Member Banks in the Second Federal
Reserve District and others concerned:
At the request of the Secret Service Division of the Treasury Department,
New York District, we are hereby notifying all member banks in the Second Federal
Reserve District and others concerned of the appearance of a new counterfeit
Federal Reserve note described by the Secret Service Division as follows:
COUNTERFEIT $10 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE:
On the FEDERAL RESERVE- BANK OF NEft YORK, N. Y.; Series of
1934; Check Letter f F f ; Face Plate No. 23; Back Plate No. 332;
Serial No. B23754195A; bearing facsimile signatures of
W. A. JULIAN, Treasurer of the United States, and HENRY
MORGENTHAU, JR., Secretary of the Treasury, portrait of HAMILTON.
This counterfeit is a fair photo-mechanical reproduction
printed on one piece of bond paper heavier than the genuine, and
on which no attempt has been made to imitate the silk fiber.
The Treasury seal and serial numbers are executed in a dull
green and the portrait of HAMILTON is darker than the genuine
and the face lacks expression.
The note is not calculated to
deceive the experienced handler of currency.
Should this or any other counterfeit come to your attention
it should be forwarded with all available information regarding
it to the office of the U. S. Secret Service in your territory.
Offices of the Service are located in the Post Office Buildings
in Syracuse, Buffalo, N. Y., and Newark, N. J., and in the
Customhouse Building in New York City.
