FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK I Circular No. 13781 [April 20, 1934J Daylight Saving Time To all Banks and Trust Companies in the Second Federal Reserve District and Others Concerned: So-called daylight saving time will be effective in the cities of New York and Buffalo, New York, during the period from 2 a. m. on Sunday, April 29, 1934, to 2 a. m. on Sunday, September 30, 1934. During this period local time in the cities of New York and Buffalo, New York, will be one hour in advance of Eastern standard time, and this bank will operate on such local time. GEORGE L.
