To all Banks and Trust Companies in the Second Federal Reserve District and Others Concerned: In accordance with instructions from the Treasury Department the subscription books for the offering of $800,000,000, or thereabouts, of United States of America Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness in two series, both dated and bearing interest from March 15, 1933, Series TAG-1933, 4 per cent, due August 15, 1933, and Series TD2-1933, 4*4 per cent, due December 15,1933, closed at the close of business today, Monday, March 13, 1933. Subscriptions actually mailed before 9 p. m. March 13,1933, as shown by post office cancellation, will be considered as having been received before the close of the subscription books. GEORGE L.
