FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK Circular No. 1177 "I .March 12, 1933 J Information Concerning Withdrawals of Gold To All Banks in the Second Federal Reserve District: A telegram has been received from the Federal Reserve Board amending the request for information concerning gold withdrawals which was reported in circular No. 1169. The amendment postpones by four days the date on which the list of persons who have withdrawn gold from the banks is to be closed and reported to the Federal Reserve Board. The message received today is as follows: " I t is requested that you prepare and forward to the Board as soon as possible after March 17, 1933, as complete a list as can be made from information you are able to obtain of the names and addresses of all persons who have withdrawn gold from your bank or a member bank in your district since February 1, 1933, and who have not redeposited it in a bank on or before March 17, 1933." The list which you were requested in circular No. 1169 to send us should therefore be completed immediately after March 17, 1933. GEOEGE L. HARRISON, Governor.
