C losing o f Jefferson N ational Bank

To All Depository Institutions, and Others Concerned,
in the Second Federal Reserve District:
We have been advised that on February 26, 1993, the Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency issued an order providing for the closing of Jefferson
National Bank, Watertown, New York ("Jefferson”) (routing number 0213-1165-5).
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation was appointed receiver and, effective
the close of business February 26, 1993, transferred certain assets and liabilities of
Jefferson to Fleet Bank of New York, Albany, New York ("Fleet"). Fleet has agreed
to continue receiving certain payments transactions of Jefferson, including checks
and automated clearinghouse transactions bearing the routing number of Jefferson.
