C losing o f The Norwalk Bank

To All Depository Institutions, and Others
Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District:

We have been advised that on April 24, 1992, the Banking Com m issioner of
the State of Connecticut issued an order providing for the closing of The Norwalk
Bank, Norwalk, Connecticut (“ Norwalk” ) (routing num ber 0211-1118-5). The
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation was appointed receiver and, effective the
close of business April 24, 1992, transferred certain assets and liabilities of
Norwalk to The Bank of Darien, Darien, Connecticut (“ D arien”). Darien has agreed
to continue receiving certain payments transactions o f Norwalk, including checks
and automated clearinghouse transactions bearing the routing num ber of Norwalk.
