FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK [ C ircu la r N o. 10452 "I A p r il 2 2 , 1991 Receivership of Prospect Park Savings Bank, SLA To All Depository Institutions, and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District: We have been advised that effective April 19, 1991, the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, Department of the Treasury, declared Prospect Park Savings Bank, SLA, West Paterson, New Jersey (“Old Thrift”) insolvent and ordered it closed. The Resolution Trust Corporation (the “RTC”) was appointed receiver. Upon its appointment, the receiver took possession of all of the assets of Old Thrift, and transferred certain assets and liabilities of Old Thrift to Prospect Park Federal Savings Bank (“New Thrift”), which is being operated as a conservatorship o f the RTC. New Thrift has agreed to accept presentment o f cash items payable by, through, or at Old Thrift and to accept the return of cash items originally deposited at Old Thrift.
