To All Depository Institutions, and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District: We have been advised that effective the close of business D ecem ber 13, 1990, the D irector of the Office of T hrift Supervision, Departm ent of the Treasury, de term ined that a ground for the appointm ent of a receiver existed for the United Savings Bank, ES.B ., Paterson, New Jersey (routing no. 2212-7118-4). The Resolution Trust Corporation (the “RTC”) was appointed receiver for the purpose of liquidation and has begun the process of paying out the deposits. We will be returning cash items in our cash letters to the United Savings Bank, ES.B . and charging for such items in accordance with the provisions of Regulation J of the Board o f Governors of the Federal Reserve System (12 C .E R . Part 210). The RTC has also instructed us to return items that would otherw ise have been presented to the United Savings Bank, ES.B . E. G e r a l d C o r r ig a n , P resid en t.
