T im len , First Vice President of this Bank, has elected early retirement, effective July 1, 1988, after completing more than 32 years of distinguished service with the Bank. He joined the Bank in 1955 and became an officer in 1960. Mr. Timlen was appointed First Vice Presi dent in 1976, and, as such, has been serving as an alternate member of the Federal Open Market Committee.
