FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CH I CAGO 79 WEST MONROE STREET December 6, 1919. TO THE MEMBER BANK ADDRESSED: Effective Monday, December 8, 1919, and until further notice, our Transit Department will discontinue taking deposits at 11:30 A. M. daily except Saturday and at 11 A. M. Saturday. All other departments of the bank will close at 1:30 P. M. daily except Saturday and at 12 M. Saturday. Orders for currency shipments must be in our hands by 12 M. and requests for transfers of funds by the closing hour, in order to receive attention the same day . The foregoing temporary regulations are to enable us to conform to the order of the Public Utilities Commission of Illinois to confine the use of light and power to the hours of 9 A. M. to 3:30 P.
