To All Member Banks in the
Eleventh Federal Reserve District:

Transfers of Funds

The Federal Reserve System has approved a change in the time
for closing hour for receiving requests for interdistrict transfers
of funds.

Effective April 2, 1973, the base time established for the

closing hour will be 3:00 p.m. local time of the Reserve offices to
which the transfers are to be made, but not later than 3:00 p.m. local
time of the Reserve office from which the transfers are to be dispatched.
The purpose of this revision in policy is to provide more timely
and efficient service to member banks.

Attached is a revised Supplement

to Bulletin No. 6 effective April 2, 1973 as an aid in adopting to this
change.
