Notice of the adoption of these amendments was announced earlier in Circular No. 84-5 dated January 17, 1984. The new slip sheet should be inserted in Volume 2 of your Regulations Binder. Effective January 1, 1984, section 203.2 is amended by adding a new paragraph (h), to read as follows: branch office in a standard metropolitan statistical area (SMSA). (h) Standard metropolitan statistical area or SMSA means a metropolitan statistical area (MSA) or primary metropolitan sta tistical area (PMSA), as defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. 3.
