TEXAS 7 5 2 2 2 FIR S T VICE P R E S ID E N T February 6, 1985 Circular 85-19 TO: The Operations Officer or Reserve Account Manager of all depository institutions in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Reduction in the carryover percentage for required reserves DETAILS This is a reminder to all FR 2900 weekly reporting institutions that effective with the maintenance period beginning January 31, 1985, the allowable carryover percentage for required reserves was reduced from 2.5 percent to 2 percent under the extended carryover provision of contemporaneous reserve requirements. Therefore, weekly reporting depository institutions will be allowed to carry over the the next maintenance period excess reserves or deficiencies up to 2 percent of required reserves, or $25,000.00, whichever is larger.
