F ederal reserve Bank OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, January 16, 1948 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Reference is made to our circular letter of May 1, 1947, regarding the Saturday closing of the Baltimore Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. We are now advised that it is deemed advisable for the Baltimore Branch to be open for business on the following Saturdays during 1948, because each such Saturday is either preceded by a Friday or followed by a Monday which is a legal holiday in the State of Maryland: February 21 March 27 May 29 September 11 We are also advised th at the Baltimore Branch will remain closed on all other Saturdays until further notice.
