The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has been
instructed by the Federal Reserve Board to forward a l l items
through our D is t r ic t Clearing House w ith 'th e p rotest inĀ­
stru ction s to p rotest a l l checks o f $10.00 and ov er, unless
stamped on the face with the le t t e r s showing'HN*P#W and the
tr a n s it number of the Federal Reserve Bank or.an endorsing
bank.

Therefore, supplementing Circular No. 35 of
May 2nd, 191$, in which is outlined the method to be
ployed in the handling of checks and d ra fts, it w ill be
necessary that a l l member banks and non-member clearing
banks forward th eir checks with protest instructions to
correspond with the above plan.
This plan w ill become e ffe c tiv e December 20th,
1919, and your compliance therewith is kindly requested.
