F edera l R eser v e Bank OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, October 23, 1964 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT To All Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: T. A. Hardin, Vice President of this Bank, after reaching the normal retirement age of 65, will retire on November 1, 1964, under the provisions of the Retirement System of the Federal Reserve Banks. Mr. Hardin has completed 45 years of service with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He was assigned to several departments in clerical and supervisory capacities prior to his election as an officer on January 1, 1955. His most recent assignment has been as Vice President in charge of the Bank’s Fiscal Agency and Machine Processing departments. Roy E. Bohne, Vice President in charge of the Bank’s El Paso Branch, will succeed Mr. Hardin, at Dallas, effective November 1, 1964. Mr. Bohne was employed by the Bank on November 23, 1937. Before his election as an officer on March 1, 1959, he served in various capacities throughout the Bank. On April 20, 1962 he was elected a vice president and placed in charge of the El Paso Branch. Fredric W. Reed will succeed Mr. Bohne as Vice President in charge of the El Paso Branch being promoted from his present position as Assistant Cashier of the Bank’s Head Office in Dallas. Mr. Reed was employed on June 26, 1933, at the San Antonio Branch, and served in various capacities, including a one-year tour of duty with the examiners of the Board of Governors. He was elected an officer of the Bank on January 30, 1956, and since then has served at San Antonio, El Paso, and Dallas. His most recent duty has been that of directly supervising the Fiscal Agency Department at the Dallas office. Yours very truly, Watrous H.
