F ederal reserve Ba n k OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, August 28, 1957 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT To th e M em ber E le v e n t h B a n k s in th e F ed eral R eserv e D is t r ic t: I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has taken the following actions to become effective September 1, 1957: B. J. Troy, Assistant Cashier at the Houston Branch, was appointed Cashier at the Houston Branch. Mr. Troy will succeed H. K. Davis. W. C. Hartung, Manager of the Loan and Service Department at the Houston Branch, was appointed Assistant Cashier at the Houston Branch. Alvin E. Russell, Cashier at the El Paso Branch, was appointed Assistant Cashier at the San Antonio Branch. Mr. Russell will succeed F. C. Magee. Fredric W. Reed, Assistant Cashier at the San Antonio Branch, was appointed Cashier at the El Paso Branch. Frederick J. Schmid, Manager of the Transit Department at the San Antonio Branch, was appointed Assistant Cashier at the San Antonio Branch. E. A. Thaxton, Jr., Acting Assistant General Auditor at the Head Office, was designated Assistant General Auditor. Mr. Thaxton will succeed I. J. Reed. Messrs. Davis, Magee and I. J. Reed will retire under the provisions of the Retire ment System of the Federal Reserve Banks after having reached the normal retirement age.
